College Application essays are more important for homeschoolers than for other applicants. VisionWork is now proud to offer a valuable service for college-bound students. Our College Application Essay Evaluations provide homeschool students with the unbiased feedback they need…before that work goes to the Admissions Counselors.
This additional service provides homeschool students with thorough reviews of their college application essay, identifying mistakes and making recommendations, and providing the guidance to write of the values they learned from being homeschooled. This service ensures that homeschool students express themselves exclusively to college administers as they prepare for college.
Welcome Prospective College Student! We know that applying to colleges and universities can be a daunting, difficult process, but we at VisionWork Education are here to make that process just a little bit easier. The Essay is one of the most important parts of your application—the part of the application in which you become more than the sum of your grades and activities, to stand out among your peers. We can help you master this important step, through qualified evaluation of your work.
Note: VisionWork Education will NOT write or re-write your College Application Essay for you.
In the interest of fairness to all college applicants, our evaluators will not put their own words into your essay. This is also to your benefit, as colleges are looking to discover the ‘real you’—which is possible only through your own words. We simply evaluate your essay before the college does, to make sure you are putting your best foot forward. We will evaluate your grammar and usage, structure, and many other criteria, identifying both your strong points as well as those points in need of improvement.
After purchasing the evaluation, you begin the 5-step process by writing and submitting your Application Essay (plus questionnaire) to our qualified evaluators. Only one college application may be sent at a time. Our evaluators come from the Ivy League and Top Universities from the United States, so you can be sure of the quality of your essay evaluation.
Once the essay has been submitted, one of our evaluators will read your essay, annotate all grammar, spelling, and other errors, and give you a detailed analysis of your essay as a whole.
The evaluator will return your essay to you, with their complete evaluation, for you to review and revise your essay. Once you have revised your essay, you will re-submit it to the evaluator for their final review follow-up evaluation.
Your essay evaluator will read your second draft, and make their final comments about your essay. They will then return your essay to you.
You will read and make the final finishing touches to your revised and evaluated essay, before sending it to the college of your choice.

Upon receiving the essay, you will make revisions, based in part on the comments your evaluator has made. Once you have revised your essay, you will turn in your completed homework assignment.
