0000 Our students live in a predominantly computerized age.  They explore databases and “surf” the internet for both entertainment and educational purposes.  In universities and colleges, more than 80% of student work is accomplished and submitted through computers. Professors share that computers and online research let students move into domains of knowledge where they themselves lack expertise.  This procedure helps students to model their own learning methods when they encounter phenomena they do not comprehend or questions they cannot answer.
In applying these positive concepts, SAT preparation has been computerized and modeled into the most value-enriched, fun, and rewarding SAT preparation course ever introduced. Aside from the usual lists of lessons, practice drills and questions, SAT Prep offers scholarship opportunities, competitive online game with friends, chances to win prizes and gift certificates, and a chance to win an all-expense-covered trip to Europe during the summer of junior or senior year! No other SAT program gives as much incentive and motivation to study for the SATs as SATPrep. SATPrep has been meticulously designed and programmed to accommodate the lifestyles of high school students.

  • Critial Reading/Writing Lessons and Drills
0000 SATPrep is a 6-month course comprised of 48 weekly lessons in Critical Reading and Writing.  Each lesson focuses on one type of SAT question and is followed by a series of practice drills and post-exams. Students will be asked to submit Critical Reading and Writing questions online; once a question is submitted, a student will be able to engage in Critical Reading and Writing tournament with friends.  The winner of each game will receive redeemable points for gift certificates and prizes. There is no limit to how many times a student may participate; more participation will increase his or her chance or winning.
Twice a month, students will be required to write a 25-minute timed essay on a SAT-like writing topic.  This essay will be evaluated by tutors who will score the essay according to the SAT rubric (score 2 through score 6).  In addition, tutors will review the post-exams with the students and cover any weaknesses found in the test results.
Over the course of 6 months, students will be memorizing at least 1500 vocabulary words and more than 100 prefixes, suffixes, and root words.  These words will be tested through drills and online vocabulary games against other students.  Points received for winning these games will be redeemable as gift certificates to the students’ favorite stores or as saved points for the European Vacation Contest!

Why pay thousands of dollars looking for the right SAT Tutor?
SATPrep includes all tutoring services and offers a highly qualified group of teachers and doctors. We provide you with the best tutors, selected from the most prestigious universities and institutions.

SATPrep tutoring takes place on a weekly basis – one hour each week.
Each week, tutors will teach different lessons on either Writing or Reading.

Selected from a small pool of highly qualified Ivy-League PhD students and graduates and certified High School English Teachers, VisionWork tutors will hold 60 minute classes for 5 students.  Each class meets once a week through the VisionWork server, where students will be able to see and hear the tutor as well as chat with classmates.  Essays and Post-exams will be displayed on the computer screen and the tutor will use the screen as an online blackboard.  All five students will work together to solve problems and ask questions regarding their previous lessons.

0000 Each student will be granted an access to the SATPrep Game Server.  In this room, students will see familiar game concepts that they regularly enjoy at home, except this time, it only deals with the SATs.  Students may select from the types of games they want to play and invite their own friends to join.  Winners will be selected at the end of each game; students who wish to earn more winner points may play the game again.  All points received by playing these games are stored in the student database and can be exchanged for prizes, gift certificates, and ultimately, a free vacation to Europe!

0000 Each year, college-bound seniors who have previously enrolled in SATPrep will be eligible to apply for our $3,000 college scholarship contest! Students must submit their college acceptance letters, high school transcripts, and a 500-word essay on their future goals and dreams.  Winners will be announced in May.

0000 Every summer, 6 SATPrep students with the highest number of points will be awarded a chaperoned educational tour to Europe!  All tours come with highly-experienced guides and tour directors and first-class hotels and meals. Students may choose from a wide variety of destinations, including Spain, France, Portugal, England, Greece, Germany, and more! Also, students can accumulate points for completing essays, questions and playing games. With these points students can receive gifts cards for any store you like.
